QR is short for Quick Response. A QR Code is a unique bar code, consisting of black and white squares, that can be read/scanned by cell phones (through the use of a QR Code Reader).

Originally developed in Japan, QR Codes are quickly gaining popularity in the US. And if you haven't yet, soon you'll see QR Codes all over magazines, billboards, websites and/or maybe even someone's t-shirt. A QR Code can deliver instant information about a business, display a mobile video, or offer a coupon for a local retailer. With HOMECELLERS, a QR code displays your real estate listing information instantly on a smartphone through the simple click of a button.

How Can I Get A QR Code?

With HOMECELLERS, you can now generate QR Codes for each of your listings, as well as for you, the agent. It's an outstanding compliment to our real estate SMS service and another avenue to help drive real estate leads. To use your HOMECELLERS QR Codes, click on a "Generate QR Code" button from within your account. An image will be displayed, which you can save (right click/save image as) for use on flyers, business cards, postcards, your website, ETC. Remember that each text ID will have it's own unique QR Code (they're all different).

Most DROID phones come with QR readers by default. QR APPS can also be found in your APP store. For IPHONE, we like QuickMark or BeeTag Reader.
